Have you heard the one about:

At 10°C: New Yorkers turn on the heat — Canadians plant gardens.

At 5°C: Californians shiver uncontrollably — Canadians sunbathe.

At 0°C: Italian cars won’t start — Canadians drive with the windows down.

And finally . . . at -20°C: New York City landlords finally turn on the heat while Canadians have the last barbeque of the season.
